Question
Can odor  produced during a  hypoglycemic event  be captured from saliva placed on dental cotton  and replicated via hydration be identified by dogs trained to identify chemical changes in the body

  • 24" scent wheel 
  • 6 containers (clean tin cans)
  • 6 glass shakers w.metal lids
    • variable numbers of holes in lids
  • Lazy Susan
Protocol
  • run containers (cans) and shakers twice through the dishwasher prior to test
  • OR hand wash twice in hot soapy water and dishwashing detergent; rinse in hot water
  • store in Ziplock plastic bags when not in use
    • store "hot" shaker separately in its own Ziplock bag
